Jesus's favorite moment on Earth - IN A PEACE

Jesus's favorite moment on Earth

I used to ask a lot of random questions to Jesus. "What's your favorite color?... what type of weather do you like?... what's your pet peeve?... what's the perfect food? What period would you have chosen to live besides the one you lived in? What was your favorite moment on earth?..." Yes, random indeed.

Not all of them got answered, but he answered some of them. And once I heard His voice clearly when I asked the last question about His favorite moment on earth. I was thinking it would perhaps be when He entered Jerusalem on a donkey and people praising Him, shouting,
"Hosanna!"
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"
"Blessed is the king of Israel!".

I must've thought this way because He was hailed as the king of Israel. Instead, I heard a small still voice in my spirit, and He said, "When I died on the cross." To be honest, I was star-struck and became speechless because I knew I heard the voice of the Creator so clearly. It was the voice of the truth, authority, and humility. I froze for a bit because I was just in awe of Him. It actually took me about 3 years to process what that meant.

I don't completely understand this type of love because crucifixion sounds so painful. But I understand His love because I heard the voice of the truth in love. When Jesus died on the cross, it was out of love for me and humanity. And He was willing to suffer because of His love. For whoever believes in Him as their personal savior, they can experience forgiveness of sins, love, joy, hope, peace and freedom, and a personal relationship with the living God who so loves His own creation. Jesus was willing to sacrifice His life so that we can connect to God through Him.

On an interesting note, I found a Bible verse describing God's voice as "a still small voice" (1 Kings 19:12). I had never known this verse when I heard the voice of Jesus in my spirit. It's always so fascinating how God reveals Himself to me in a way that can be verified by the Word of God.
