Giving my heart to God

Believing in God is not about religion.

"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)

I struggled with fear that God would punish me, but He taught me that it's a lie from the enemy to put irrational fear in me. God has revealed Himself to me as the compassionate Father who tenderly loves His child, and that I can trust Him.

"For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬
